Your indignation over Obama... "means a black guy running for president still has to prove he’s sufficiently American" is a little weak. As a child, this guy was registered in a Indonesian school as a MUSLIM ! We might argue that he was just 6 or 7 years old when this happened, but I think that everyone agrees that your childhood shapes your personality and your future outlook in life. Getting raised by good solid midwestwestern valued, WWII combat veteran grandfather came much later in his life, after his belief system and attitudes were already set by a mother who was a tramp (at best) and an athiest. So i find it hard to swallow your Democratic Party pap that he is puro American...because he is not.
